  7. The TH-251A is very similar to the TH-225A.  The following TH-215A mod
  8. has been tested on the TH-225A and seems to work, thanks Steve(W9OMX).

  22. 1.  Remove two screws from belt clip

  24. 2.  Remove 4 screws from back of radio

  28. 4.  Locate set of 4 jumpers:

  57. 6.  Reset microprocessor:  Turn radio on while simultaneously pressing
  58.     both _F_ key and _ENTER_ key.

  62. DISCLAIMER:  I do not own a TH-215A and have not verified the above
  63. information.  Hopefully, the modified frequency range includes 162 MHz
  64. weather-broadcast freqs.  Remember, it is ILLEGAL to transmit outside
  65. the ham band with non-FCC-type-accepted equipment, even if you are
  66. licensed to use such frequencies.
